The COGIC Manual prescribes who is eligible to vote during the Jurisdictional Assembly. We are prepared to ensure that we have an orderly process for voting.
The details and process will be available during the Call Meeting. You must be present to vote. Participating in the voting is only available for IN-PERSON VOTING.

THE IMPORTANT OF THE 2024 INTERNATIONAL GENERAL ASSEMBLY SESSIONS

• In April 2024, the General Assembly will launch the next Quadrennial Elections of all general officers of the Church of God in Christ. The candidates for the General Board and all other officers will launch their campaigns.

• In November 2024, the General Assembly will VOTE for the officers and Presiding Bishop will serve for the next 4 years.

ELIGIBLE DELEGATES FOR THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY

• Jurisdictional Bishop

• Bishop's Wife or Widow

• Supervisor of the Department of Women

• Pastors

• Ordained Elders

• District Missionaries (Limited to 4)

• Member with or without credentials (Limited to 6)

The Jurisdictional Assembly is required to ELECT the following DELEGATES:

• 4 District Missionaries

• 6 Lay Delegates

STIPULATIONS FOR ELIGIBLE CREDENTIAL HOLDERS

• You must have an active 2024-2025 ID CARD to be eligible in APRIL 2025.

• You must pay your 2025-2026 National Report and receive your National ID card 2025-2026 to be eligible in NOVEMBER 2025.

STIPULATIONS FOR LAY DELEGATES

• Lay Delegates can be either male or female.

• You must be a member of a local church in Mississippi Southern Second to be eligible.

• IF YOU HAVE COGIC CREDENTIALS, you must meet the same requirements as the stipulations for any credential holders
