Holy Convocation Official Notice Letter

SUMMARY

This letter, dated June 23, 2026, from Bishop Kenneth E. Preston of the MS Southern Second Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction Church of God in Christ, Inc., addresses all Superintendents, District Missionaries, and Pastors regarding the upcoming Annual Holy Convocation.

The Holy Convocation is scheduled from Monday, July 20, 2026, through Friday, July 24, 2026, and will focus on revival, with advance fasting and prayer.

Key deadlines and requirements:

• July 6: Pastors and credential holders must submit personal and church membership reports to their District Superintendent.

• July 13: District Superintendents and Missionaries must submit their full reports to the State Headquarters Office.

• The membership report for the Holy Convocation is $10.00 per member. The letter requests churches to at least double their reported amount from the Worker's Meeting to help cover expenses.

Adm. Asst. Timothy T. Scott, Jr. will provide information on the necessary forms. Good Shepherd will take place on Wednesday Night, July 22, 2026, during the Convocation. See Notice of Attire provided below.

Bishop's Official Notice includes due dates and deadlines. It is imperative that we meet these targets. The assessments for this meeting were distributed during the Annual Call Meeting in December.
